It’s important to start puppies and kittens off right with comprehensive wellness plans that support a healthy life. Our veterinarians will create an exam, vaccination, and parasite control schedule that will help your puppy or kitten have a first year of superior wellness.

Wellness Plans

Physical Examinations

We recommend that your new puppy or kitten have 2 complete physical exams between 8-16 weeks of age. These examinations provide us with a baseline of health that helps us determine overall health and when it’s best to administer necessary vaccines.

Vaccinations

Puppies and kittens have immature immune systems, which makes them vulnerable to disease and infection. Vaccines keep them protected and are given in a series.

Diagnostics

Puppies and kittens should be tested for intestinal parasites with a microscopic fecal exam. Kittens are recommended to be tested for Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus during their first visit if testing had not currently been done.

Spay/Neuter procedure is recommended for all pets to maximize overall health, minimize the risk for certain infections and diseases, prevent unwanted litters, and inhibit undesirable sexual behaviors like roaming and aggression.

Microchipping

We highly recommend all of our clients have their pets microchipped. Your pet is a priceless addition to your family. We want to help make sure they stay safe with you.
