COVID-19 Information

On June 30, 2021, we modified our curbside pet appointment services. You can learn more about the guidelines and protocols below.

Curbside Service at Superior Animal Hospital

The health and safety of our patients, clients, and staff are our top priority here at Superior Animal Hospital. We are open with regular business hours at this time and are following the Center for Disease Control (CDC) regarding the steps we can take to prevent virus spread.

On June 30th, we modified our curbside pet appointment services with the exception of euthanasia appointments*. Here's what you can expect:

We are aware the pandemic is not over and have developed a plan to keep exposure at a minimum while letting you accompany your pet(s) for examinations. We ask that you please review our updated policies and procedures below so you know what to expect:

  • Patients with doctor appointments may now enter the building with 1 human companion.
  • When you arrive, please check in with the front desk when you arrive.
  • For Tech Appointments, Urgent Care, and Emergencies, check-in with the technician at the front. We'll then ask you to return to your vehicle.
  • Food and medicine pickups will take place at the front desk.
  • When the appointment is complete, you will be checked out in the exam room.

We will provide full curbside service for those with pet appointments who are not comfortable entering the hospital.

It is our goal to keep everyone safe. If you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 or have a fever, please do not enter the building. We kindly request that you have a guardian come in your place or reschedule your appointment. Thank you for your continued understanding and support. Stay healthy!

*We are allowing a maximum of 2 people during euthanasia appointments as we understand that this is a challenging and emotional time. Please note that we require masks to be worn by all parties entering the building. We do ask that those entering the building be able to answer "no" to the following questions:

  1. Have you experienced any symptoms of illness in the last 24-48 hours?
  2. Have you been in close contact with someone suspected of or with a known case of COVID-19?
  3. Are you currently isolating or waiting on test results of a COVID-19 test?
